Fall Craft: Easy Gift Ideas!
Hello everyone! I love giving gifts to my friends and family, especially holiday themed ones. Here are two fun DIY gift ideas, the first for Halloween and the second for Friendsgiving. Hope you enjoy!
First Idea - Halloween Candy Bag
Materials:
-Clear Gift Bag
-Construction Paper (You can use white or choose a fun color)
-Gift Tag Printable. I got mine from this link - http://simplykierste.com/2015/09/trick-or-treat-printable-gift-tag.html
-Hole Puncher
-Baker's Twine
-Ribbon
-Candy to fill the bag with
Instructions:
Fill your bag with candy. Close the bag using a festive ribbon. Using the link to the the printable or any other printable of your choice, print out a gift tag and cut it out from the construction paper. Punch a hole in the top of the tag and string it onto your bag using baker's twine.
Second Idea - Boxed Cupcakes
Materials:
- 4 Pumpkin Cupcakes with Cinnamon Cream Cheese Frosting. I followed the recipe from this link - http://lilluna.com/easy-pumpkin-cupcakes/
- Baker's Twine
- Cupcake Box (I got mine from Walmart - 3 for $3!)
Instructions:
After making the cupcakes, allow them to cool completely in the fridge for a couple of hours or even better overnight. Place a cupcake divider (usually provided with the box, but not always!) into the box and then place one cupcakes in each of the four sections. Close the box and tie it off with some baker's twine.
